Dark Tormentum will appear on Steam - Published on 06/29/14

Created by the Polish based OhNoo studio Tormentum got the green light from the Steam society in the blink of an eye and will be distributed on the platform. The action of the game is set in unfriendly, violent world where one has to demonstrate quick wits and make many ambiguous decisions. The protagonist is a man suffering from amnesia whose faith dealt him short. He tries to pursue his wandering and not give up. Tormentum is scheduled to start its distribution in October 2014.

Gdynia, Poland - Tormentum spent only 23 days on the wait-list among the other productions hungering for the publication on the Steam platform. It was enough time for the game to win more votes than 1700 other productions yearning for being sold by the Valve's platform. Some of them have been waiting for the Steam's green light for several months.

Over 6 thousands people expressed their willingness to purchase Tormentum. It is 56% of all votes in favour of this production. Both, the remarkably short time spent in the wait-list and the outstanding number of positive votes are few and far between.

However, the fundraising for completion of the game on the Indiegogo platform has not finished yet. After Tormentum got Steam's approval, 9 bucks is the minimum contribution with additional bonus i.e. the key to be used on the Valve's platform.

Raising the humble amount of 9K USD will allow for completing the game in a flash and start its distribution in October 2014. More info and screenshots are at the website.

Tormentum is a 2D adventure game developed by the independent 3-person OhNoo studio. The action of the game is set in unfriendly, violent world where one has to demonstrate quick wits and make many ambiguous decisions. The protagonist is a man suffering from amnesia whose faith dealt him short. He tries to pursue his wandering and not give up.

Braiding these well-known motifs OhNoo studio plans to create one of the most bizarre, surrealistic worlds one has ever encountered in the adventure games. The protagonist will visit three completely different lands with regard to their architecture, weather, and beasts living there. All together around 80 locations. The game graphics makes the game truly exceptional. Dark and murky hand-made illustrations perfectly supplement ponderous and climatic soundtrack of the game. Despite the fact that the works have not been completed, the game induced a lot of enthusiasm and interest of the most popular opinion-forming game media, such as "Destructoid", or "Rock Paper, Shotgun".
