Version 3.5 introduces Text boxes, allowing users to add a text box, style its content (lists, paragraph and character attributes), wrap text around it, flexibly set the box fill and frame, and so on. Mellel also offers three unique options with text boxes: it allows you to fit the box to the text in it (either to the maximum possible width or height), to set the text box corner radius, and to adjust fixed line spacing, so that inline text boxes are laid out properly (for books and parallel running text). Mellel for iPad adds a much requested new feature of exporting to PDF.

Other key new features with Mellel 3.5 include a snap-snap for images and text boxes, allowing you to easily centre, align, and organise images and text boxes on a page. Mellel also adds the option to set corner radius for images, an overflow indicator for text boxes, dashed image frames, and more. The new version of Mellel also includes dozens of small improvements and a long list of bug fixes.

For each specialist, opening hours can be added and shared via cloudKit with other users of the app. Photos and notes with title can be saved, for e.g. a picture of the users vehicle registration certificate at the specialist "Garage," or some notes about illness and operations at the specialist "Family Doctor."

Appointments and reminders for each specialist can be added directly inside the app. They are automatically synchronized with the users calendar database. The app shows a history of past appointments for each specialist. Version 1.2 features an integrated calendar: If the user is at a doctor's office and wants to make a new appointment, he or she can open the integrated calendar and get an immediate overview over all appointments in a month. A tap and hold on a day will open the event editor with pre-filled fields like date, title and address of the specialist.

Because the user must not manually enter the basic data of a specialist but received these via Local Search, telephone, map, or website can immediataly tapped if available, depending on what Uno Actu received from the Local Search. Of course the user can also link into the Contacts app.

The iOS search functionality can be used to find and open a specialist. Uno Actu also supports Quick Actions (if available) on the users device. By pressing the App Icon and a menu occurs for adding a new appointment or making a phone call with a specialist. As an option a password or Touch ID is needed to enter the app. All data will be synchronized to the other devices of the user via iCloud.
