In 1-bit Ninja Remix Rush players must navigate a constantly changing landscape of platforms, enemies and power-ups to travel as far as possible before the timer runs out. Collecting bits and big bits as one goes will push back the clock giving Ninja the chance to travel even further. Rather than presenting the player with completely random platforms, 1-bit Ninja Remix Rush uses brand new layouts and remixed layouts from the original game as templates for the level generation process. This allows each play through to be different from the last while still having a hand designed feel.
1-bit Ninja Remix Rush employs the same control scheme as the original 1-bit Ninja. The screen is divided into two halves with each half acting as a button. This two button approach removes a lot of the problems commonly associated with touch screen controls; accurately touching the desired button and the need for on-screen controls. In 1-bit Ninja Remix Rush the two buttons act as forward and jump. As in the original 1-bit Ninja, there is no back button in 1-bit Ninja Remix Rush pushing the player to plan and execute jumps without hesitation.
1-bit Ninja Remix Rush mixes retro handheld inspired art with a 3D camera and evolving color palette all running at a smooth 60 frames per second for a look and feel unlike anything else on the App Store. Game Center leaderboards and social sharing functionality are also included. For fans of the original game or new fans that want to experience both games, a 1-bit Ninja App Bundle is also available at a discounted price of $3.99.

Indie developer James Hollender has made available version 2.1 of his iNutrients app with the entire USDA National Nutrient Database (Internet access not required) for: Calories, Carbohydrates, Dietary Cholesterol, Fiber, Potassium, Proteins, Saturated Fat, Sodium, Sugars and Vitamin K. The database now includes 8,463 different foods and 15,135 food servings. Even with this large quantity it may still not be enough. Users can now add their own custom foods & food servings to help fill that gap.

The database now includes 8,463 different foods and 15,135 food servings.
Despite the enormous number of foods and food servings in the USDA National Nutrient Database, there are still many which aren't included, especially most name brands. Having the capability of defining Custom Foods that are missing fills this gap, which then makes keeping track of daily nutritional intake more complete.
It's extremely slick to be able to input the information from a packaged food's nutrition label and moments later see color codings for all ten nutrients indicating the ranking of their concentration. As an example the developer talks about a popular brand name frozen dinner. Once the data from the nutrition label is input and saved, the color rankings show up for the Custom Food indicating Carbohydrates are Extremely High (Black); Sodium is Very High (Dark Red); Calories are High (Red); Potassium, Saturated Fat & Sugars are Moderately High (Orange); Proteins are Moderate (Yellow); Cholesterol & Fiber are Moderately Low (Light Green); and Vitamin K is Unknown (Gray) because data wasn't available. This immediately points out that maybe this small meal, eaten frequently, isn't as nutritionally good as originally thought.
Each Custom Food Definition has one main Serving Size and an allowance to add up to three additional ones. Nutrient data is extrapolated for each of the additional Serving Sizes based on their weight compared to the main Serving Size. There is nothing that prevents the user from collecting nutritional information for a complete meal and then creating a single Custom Food for that meal. This provides the capability to speed input of the same meal eaten frequently.
All Custom Food Definitions are automatically included in searches of the entire USDA database.
If for some reason the user doesn't agree with the developer's default Color Scales for the ten nutrients covered, each individual scale can be customized. Making a change will be reflected for all previously recorded data when next presented.

* Vitamin K - Vitamins K1, K1D & K2 - Extremely important for anyone taking blood thinning medications like Coumadin or Warfarin
These nutrients are listed and presented throughout the app in alphabetical order. Icons used to help easily identify the nutrients are from other apps by the developer, each covering a single nutrient corresponding to the nutrients in this app are used throughout.
iNutrients utilizes information taken from 100% of the USDA National Nutrient Database for each of these ten nutrients, unlike the individual apps which only cover less than 10% of what's available. Users will find the Search functionality lightning fast as all needed infromation from the USDA database is local to the app - no internet connectivity is required.
From the Search functionality the user can save information for the foods they eat each day. They are able to pick a serving size and then either record a multiple of 0.1 - 9.9 servings; or optionally create a custom serving size from 1 to 500 grams. As they change the serving size they can graphically see the the effect on the various nutrients via color coding ranging from white to black:
* Black - Extremely High
* Dark Red - Very High
* Red - High
* Orange - Moderately High
* Yellow - Moderate
* Light Green - Moderately Low
* Green - Low
* Light Blue - Very Low
* White - Extremely Low
The My Data section allows users to access up to a full year's worth of Food Serving Intake Items stored in their Personal iNutrients Database. Select any Intake Item to get the complete information available. From the display users can tap the Action button in the upper right corner to:
* Delete - Delete the current Food Serving
* Change Number of Servings - Change the number of Servings for the current Food Intake Item
* Change the Intake Date - Move the current Food Serving to another day. - This is extremely useful if the user wasn't able to enter what they've eaten on the day it occurred; just simply enter it and then use this function to change to the date needed
* Copy the Intake Item to Today - This allows the user to copy an individual Food Intake Item from any day, making a copy for the current day
Also available is an allowance to copy all the Food Intake Items from a single day to the current day. This is extremely handy for people who eat the same foods on a regular basis. The Customize section provides a means for users to create their own Custom Color Scale for each nutrient if desired in addition to the new feature of creating or updating Custom Food Definitions.
This universal app shows rotating images occasionally on the right, when run on an iPad, that are representative of the 25 different Food Groups designated by the USDA. Versions of these images will typically be seen whenever a food group is identified on iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. More features are planned for upcoming future releases, especially in the areas of customization and reporting.

The words of all five verses and chorus are carefully spoken and then sung with correct pronunciation; at slow tempi up to a full band accompaniment. The vocal part is sung at a volume which allows you to sing along until you have enough confidence to switch off the vocal part. You can then enjoy singing with the band; on your own, or with friends.
Llandysul, United Kingdom - It's a song we have all heard or sung at sometime, but do you really know the Words? Having just published the Welsh National Anthem App for the National Library of Wales, eto Music Practice has announced the publication of the new global anthem App, Auld Lang Syne. The words of all five verses and chorus are carefully spoken and then sung with correct pronunciation; at slow tempi up to a full band accompaniment.
By choosing a start bar and an end bar practise the complete song phrase by phrase, sentence by sentence or verse by verse at any of the tempi. At an appropriate faster tempo we provide a sung guide vocal. This guide vocal can be used in order to learn the correct musical phrasing of the words. It too can be practised as described above.
Although loud enough to be properly heard, the vocal part is sung at a volume which allows you to sing along until you have enough confidence to switch off the vocal part. You can then enjoy singing with the band; on your own, or with friends!
History:
"Auld Lang Syne" is a Scots poem written by Robert Burns in 1788 and set to the tune of a traditional folk song. It is well known in many countries, especially in the English-speaking world, its traditional use being to bid farewell to the old year at the stroke of midnight. By extension, it is also sung at funerals, graduations and as a farewell or ending to other occasions.
The song's Scots title may be translated into English literally as "old long since", or more idiomatically, "long long ago", "days gone by" or "old times". Consequently "For auld lang syne", as it appears in the first line of the chorus, might be loosely translated as "for (the sake of) old times." The phrase "Auld Lang Syne" is also used in similar poems by Robert Ayton (1570-1638), Allan Ramsay (1686-1757), and James Watson (1711) as well as older folk songs predating Burns.Matthew Fitt uses the phrase "In the days of auld lang syne" as the equivalent of "Once upon a time..." in his retelling of fairy tales in the Scots language.
Some of the lyrics were indeed "collected" rather than composed by the poet; the ballad "Old Long Syne" printed in 1711 by James Watson shows considerable similarity in the first verse and the chorus to Burns' later poem and is almost certainly derived from the same "old song".
There is some doubt as to whether the melody used today is the same one Burns originally intended, but it is widely used in Scotland and in the rest of the world. Singing the song on Hogmanay or New Year's Eve very quickly became a Scots custom that soon spread to other parts of the British Isles. As Scots (not to mention English, Welsh and Irish people) emigrated around the world, they took the song with them.

By choosing a start bar and an end bar practise the complete song phrase by phrase, sentence by sentence or verse by verse at any of the tempi. At an appropriate faster tempo we provide a sung guide vocal. This guide vocal can be used in order to learn the correct musical phrasing of the words. It too can be practised as described above.
Although loud enough to be properly heard, the vocal part is sung at a volume which allows you to sing along until you have enough confidence to switch off the vocal part. You can then enjoy singing with the band; on your own, or with friends!
History:
"Auld Lang Syne" is a Scots poem written by Robert Burns in 1788 and set to the tune of a traditional folk song. It is well known in many countries, especially in the English-speaking world, its traditional use being to bid farewell to the old year at the stroke of midnight. By extension, it is also sung at funerals, graduations and as a farewell or ending to other occasions.
The song's Scots title may be translated into English literally as "old long since", or more idiomatically, "long long ago", "days gone by" or "old times". Consequently "For auld lang syne", as it appears in the first line of the chorus, might be loosely translated as "for (the sake of) old times." The phrase "Auld Lang Syne" is also used in similar poems by Robert Ayton (1570-1638), Allan Ramsay (1686-1757), and James Watson (1711) as well as older folk songs predating Burns.Matthew Fitt uses the phrase "In the days of auld lang syne" as the equivalent of "Once upon a time..." in his retelling of fairy tales in the Scots language.
Some of the lyrics were indeed "collected" rather than composed by the poet; the ballad "Old Long Syne" printed in 1711 by James Watson shows considerable similarity in the first verse and the chorus to Burns' later poem and is almost certainly derived from the same "old song".
There is some doubt as to whether the melody used today is the same one Burns originally intended, but it is widely used in Scotland and in the rest of the world. Singing the song on Hogmanay or New Year's Eve very quickly became a Scots custom that soon spread to other parts of the British Isles. As Scots (not to mention English, Welsh and Irish people) emigrated around the world, they took the song with them.

The app is most popular with European owners of Samsung devices, accounting for more than 230 installations. The app is actively used by those living in the US, who made almost 180,000 installations. Remotie allows full control of Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray players. The app will detect the Samsung device automatically, with navigation and voice text input support.
Belize City, Belize - 5 months after its release in the App Store, the free application Remotie has been installed over 500,000 times. As recently as in early December, this figure was under 300,000. The Kraftwerk 9 iOS remote is most popular with European owners of Samsung devices, accounting for more than 230 installations. The app is actively used by those living in the US, who made almost 180,000 installations. Average daily installations amounted to 4,000 - 8,100 in the recent month.
As Kraftwerk 9 points out, back in Autumn the majority of the app's users were from the US, but after the update that offered support in 9 additional languages was released, the users' geographical distribution changed. Moreover, the next release to be completed in January will include new functionality.
"We are not stopping work to improve or enhance the app. In a short while, we will introduce a renewed version of Remotie, which will be sure to make your usage of TV yet more enjoyable and simple," Kraftwerk 9 assured.

AppBlit LLC announces Reader App, their newest app for iOS devices. Reader App works when "Reader View" doesn't. You can read mobile friendly web pages from within Mobile Safari by just clicking the "Reader App" button. The app extracts the article of the page and lets you highlight, comment and share your articles. Adding comments is also really useful to remind ourselves about important passages in an article. They are also saved in the main app, so you can read them later offline.

Unlike the "Reader View" option of Mobile Safari, Reader App uses a different technology to extract web page content, which makes it work on many more pages. Plus, Reader App keeps important embedded information such as videos, Twitter Tweets, Instagram posts, images, and FRAME contents that contain important content.
And unlike other apps such as Readability, Pocket or Instapaper, Reader App works right from the web page you've already opened in Mobile Safari; and it lets you see the results right away.
