Winchester, Hampshire, United Kingdom - Fat Cigar Productions Ltd today announced a massive video server shutdown for their popular Wonder 7 Minute Workout App. On 30th December 2017 Wonder had many thousands of installs in just a few hours that the servers (providing the workout videos to download) were unable to cope.
An investigation found a key piece of software (by a 3rd party major developer) broke preventing the majority of users from being able to download the workout videos within the app. The issue was resolved within 48 hours but left a string of support queries and thousands waiting to be able to use Wonder. The software was fixed in time for their new years fitness resolutions on 1st January. Wonder's provisional estimates are that over 20,000 Downloads were received.
"Our small team worked around the clock over New Year to get issue fixed and respond to all the support queries we were receiving," explained Ross Jones, Co-Founder. "The issue is now solved and everyone who wanted the app for free is now able to use it but we're extremely sorry that people couldn't get full use of Wonder immediately. The sheer volume of installs was unexpected. We really care about our customer and try to go above and beyond to help them, so when something like this goes wrong it gives us an opportunity to show that."
The Wonder 7 Minute Workout App allows you to progress from unfit-to-fit starting at just 7 Minutes a day, with a workout that is scientifically proven to deliver workout results. It is available for iPhone only. The app features personal trainer Abby Knight (Hampshire, UK) showcasing workouts. Wonder specifically provides workout routines designed to accelerate fitness results on the back of the original science behind the 7 Minute Workout published in the American College of Sports Medicine.
How It Works:
Wonder allows short high intensity workouts that can be done from home or the gym and relies on Compounding and Isolation routines to generate superior fitness results. The routines consist of 12 exercises lasting 30 seconds with 10 seconds rest in between. They should be performed to 80-100% of maximum effort in order to yield best results and are ideal for those with limited time or who want to accelerate their results. Wonder 7 Minute Workout provides challenges and goals to push you at each stage of fitness, and offers workouts that can be unlocked as you progress, adding variety to the routines, and improving your fitness results.
* "Thank You for the quick and detailed response! Now it's pretty clear and I understand what caused the error. Waiting for the update. Have a successful New Year for the team!" - Fruzsecska 01/01/2018
"This is one of the best simple and effective 7 minuets app to keep you in shape. Best thing is that, developers are just behind the app to support." - Aneesh 01/01/2018

B-Eng Introduces a Mac app to Read Loading Cycles of iPhone Battery
B-Eng Introduces a Mac app to Read Loading Cycles of iPhone Battery - Published on 01/03/18
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
B-Eng today announces Battery Health 4 iOS, a dedicated Mac app to read relevant battery data of iPhone battery. Battery Health 4 iOS is an easy-to-use menu item that displays relevant statistics from your iPhone or iPad battery. When it comes to Battery statistics, there's one number that is almost impossible to reveal: the loading cycles of your battery. By just plugging your iPhone to you Mac you can see all relevant data of its battery after starting the app on your Mac.
Fehraltorf, Switzerland - B-Eng today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Battery Health 4 iOS, a dedicated Mac app to read relevant battery data of iPhone battery. Most battery apps have been pulled for the App Store, and none of the few that are still available are able to read load cycles for the battery. At a certain point Apple decided to not make these statistics available anymore. With Battery Health 4 iOS, B-Eng presents a simple and easy to use work around using a Mac Computer. Once connected to a Mac, relevant battery statistics of the iPhones battery can be gathered after starting Battery Health 4 iOS once the app on the Mac is started.
"We had one of the most powerful battery apps available in the App Store, but had to cripple it to comply with the App Store guidelines. Specifically, we were not allowed to show battery loading cycles anymore, which caused a lot of complaints by customers. With rumors about certain iOS version being slowed down on devices with older battery that show signs of wear these numbers have become even more important. Battery Health 4 iOS is a solution to gather these data using a Mac computer." as Christian Schaffner, General Manager of B-Eng, explains why he thinks that Battery Health 4 iOS is a must have app under certain circumstances.
Pricing and Availability:
Battery Health 4 iOS is available in the homepage of B-Eng for $4.99 USD (or similar amount in foreign currency). This useful utility menu item uses only 661kB of Disk Space, and runs on any Mac with 64bit and MacOS 10.10 or newer.
