Bjorn Jeffery - Co-founder and CEO of Toca Boca, a forward-thinking toy company that's found huge success by bypassing the cruft and simply delighting kids and parents with beautiful, fun apps.
"App creation has become the new art form for our generation. This is the story of the cultural phenomenon that touches all our lives," said Jedidiah Hurt, filmmaker and co-director. "We are hopeful the documentary will resonate with anyone, from those who use apps daily, to those actually creating them, with the goal of finishing the film in late 2015."
Hurt and Schumacher are currently raising $100,000 through Kickstarter to complete the film and have already raised almost 71 percent of the funds for production. They are currently looking for backers and sponsors.

Melbourne, Australia - It's with enormous pleasure that The Escapers have released the very long-awaited Flux V. Flux V follows on from the most successful version of Flux yet, Flux 4. Flux V has been in development for nearly 2 years, and faced many challenges along that path. Flux V comes with a totally redesigned user interface. It's more tuned for use as a full-screen application, more compact for ever more popular, smaller laptop screens. We've changed the appearance to fit perfectly with Mavericks and we're tuning for Yosemite right now.
But appearance is only one of many areas we've changed. Flux V has seen many technical, under the hood changes too:
Flux V is now fully 64-bit, fully ARC-compliant and multi-threaded. This means Flux is faster, more stable, and will make better use of the multiple cores in your modern Mac.
Flux V has re-worked the core feature set. FreeCode is the only way Flux works now, this means non-standard HTML is fully editable. It means that Flux can work with everything from a modern site using HTML5 and CSS3 to legacy sites built on older technologies.
Flux V has a brand new Master Elements system. The new Master Elements system works in both CSS and HTML files, and lets you use elements of one page in another page and when the original page is changed, Flux can apply those changes to the rest of the pages that use those elements. Flux V has changed how all this works, we now use HTML comments to isolate the elements, so Master Elements now work with any server-side scripting language you use, any non-standard CSS or XHTML you use. Simply, Flux V gets out of your way and lets you work your way.
Flux V has Crowd Sourced Code. A brand new idea at The Escapers to let users submit their own code to other Flux V users, this let's us The Escapers more easily distribute code snippets and ideas, but also users in the Flux community help one another with their sites.
Flux V has changed how your site synchronizes from your Mac to your server, it's multi-threaded, fast, and based on solid UNIX underpinnings.

The various types of souls can also be identified by the things that they say just before final judgement is passed on them. Their "Final Last Words" reveal their true nature. Some souls "Final Last Words" are just downright hilarious!
The game has over 40 different levels featuring new twists and turns which make it more difficult and enjoyable. By the time you are done playing the game, you'll discover that you also know more about what important figures have helped to shape the world into what it is today. The speakers on these devices have been designed to direct sound off to the side, which makes listening to videos or music less entertaining. To alleviate this problem, we often found ourselves cupping our hands around the speaker in order to redirect the sound. However, this position becomes uncomfortable after a few minutes and limits how you can hold the iPad/iPhone.

How it started:
We purchased our first Apple product, the original iPhone, on the day it was released in 2007. Since then we have become big Apple fans, using iPads, laptops, Apple TV, and of course the latest versions of the iPhones.
During the 2013 holiday season we purchased our first iPad, the Air model, and fell in love; using it constantly. While watching movies and video conferencing with friends and family, we would hold the iPad with our hands cupped around the speaker. After a little while our hands would become cramped and sore; ultimately creating an uncomfortable and less enjoyable experience.
We were constantly thinking of creative, new ways to redirect the sound, but also recognized that the solution had to work in any situation a user may encounter. For instance, your iPad may need to be charged while watching a movie. So, we knew in this scenario the SpeakerSlide needed to work while being charged or not, and it does.
The next scenario to consider was using the SpeakerSlide with cases and covers. Again we knew it had had to be designed to fit all of Apple's, and most third-party's cases and covers, and it does. The SpeakerSlide can be adjusted farther away or closer to the speakers, allowing clearance for cases and covers (see FAQ).
Over the past five months we have meticulously reviewed every millimeter of the SpeakerSlide in order to perfect each surface, curve, and line. Our goal was to create an item that feels solid and of high quality. A product that wouldn't interfere with your use, but rather enhance it. We designed countless versions of the SpeakerSlide and the finalized prototype far exceeded our expectations. We think we've done just that.
The SpeakerSlide will have the same appearance and feel Apple users have grown accustom to using. It will be manufactured from polycarbonate plastic and have a highly polished finish. This is the same type of plastic Apple uses for their products: all chargers, iPhone 5c, Time Capsule, Airport series, and many other products.
