Palo Alto, California - SnapLite, available now for iOS, lets you highlight text in images. Virtually any kind of document can be highlighted, such as book pages, pictures of magazines, articles, receipts, PDFs, Web links, screenshots, etc.

SnapLite is powered by a unique technology that automatically finds the text so you can simply swipe your finger over text areas without having to worry about being precise. SnapLite even selects the thickness of the highlight for you based on the text you want to highlight.

You can snap a picture with the built-in camera, or import photos from your Gallery, and even your clipboard. For example, you might find an interesting web page in Safari that you want to keep as PDF and highlight: simply copy its url into your clipboard, open SnapLite and tap the clipboard icon; the app will download what it finds in your clipboard and turn it into a PDF that you can then highlight. It even works on scanned PDFs.

SnapLite has even an option to remove the clutter from web pages so you can read the important content of web pages that you import, a little bit like what Mobile Safari does with its "Reader Mode".

SnapLite feels like magic: really any kind of document can be highlighted, and if it's a PDF or Web turned int a PDF, you can email that back with your highlights, or share your highlighted pictures on Twitter or Facebook and even save them back to your device's photo gallery.
