Arabic with Taha and Maryam - Alphabet App - Published on 04/14/14

Arrabee introduces Arabic with Taha and Maryam for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The game is designed to teach kids tthe arabic alphabet in a fun and easy way, using a concept of a boardgame. Players spin the wheel and journey through the park. At each turn a flashcard must be completed and the first person to reach the mosque wins the game. Arabic with Taha and Maryam was created after trying to find suitable apps to teach children to read Arabic.

Corona, California - My sister and I founded the company "Arrabee" and have developed our first educational game app for children called "Arabic with Taha and Maryam". The app uses a captivating board game to help children learn the Arabic alphabet in a fun and easy way. This is the first step in learning to read Arabic and the Quran. We created the app after I struggled to find suitable apps to help my children read Arabic. There is simply nothing else like it out there.

We specially designed the app to take into account normal speech and language development and the need for children to be kept entertained! It can be used by anyone but is especially useful for children who speak English as their first language.

Players spin the wheel and journey through the park. At each turn a flashcard must be completed and the first person to reach the mosque wins the game.

My sister and I founded Arrabee in June 2013 to design and create high quality educational game apps. My sister is a family doctor (MRCGP, MBBS) based in London, UK, and I am a speech and language therapist (SLP-CCC) with two children, living in California, USA.
English is our first language and I was struggling to find suitable apps to help my children read Arabic. With our professional backgrounds we created our first app "Arabic with Taha and Maryam". We plan to create successive apps building on this one, to help children read Arabic and the Quran in a step-by-step way. All Material and Software (C) Copyright 2014 Arrabee. All Rights Reserved.
