Melbourne, Australia - Independent developer, John Smythe today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of PandaTap 1.0 for iOS and Android devices. Get caught up in the excitement of PandaTap - a fun challenge that is sure to get you hooked. The game features a fun loving panda that is looking for a playmate.
Start the game by telling your panda buddy to toss the ball. Once you have the ball in the air, you will need to keep tapping the ball to keep it from touching the ground. This may sound like a simple concept, but the game is actually a lot more challenging than it looks. One false move and your ball will move out of reach and you will have to start all over again. That's part of the challenge that you will grow to love (or maybe hate) as you get into the game.
Every time you manage to tap the ball, keeping it off the ground, you will get one more point towards your score. As you keep playing you will learn the best angles at which to tap the ball making it easier to keep it in the air for longer and longer, and making it that much more frustrating when you do finally slip and let the ball drop. There is no strategy guide here. You must rely on your growing experience and determination.
The game graphics are purposely simple so you can focus on keeping the ball in your sight. The black and white panda, as well as the gentle mountains in the background, are designed to create contrast with the bright red ball so your eye can always find it quickly and keep tapping it to keep it off the ground. The music is also kept light and fun. There is an addicting quality to it which is going to keep you wanting to come back and play PandaTap. The desire to beat your, or your friends' top score will have you coming back for more even if you have been working at it for a long time.
A lot of this game focuses on being quick and accurate, so the programming is designed to be smooth and easy to follow. You don't have to worry about a sudden lag moving the ball unpredictably, causing you to drop the ball. Everything has been accounted for so anyone, regardless of age or experience with gaming, can pick this game up and get the hang of it within minutes.
