Access your music, movies, TV shows and photos with a simple browser, a DLNA enabled TV or other device or the free iPhone and iPad app from all over the world. Instead of uploading your media to a cloud service you simply keep it at home at no additional cost.
The new version adds a UPnP DLNA Media Server which allows you to browse your movies, TV shows and music from any DLNA enabled device like many TVs and other home entertainment systems. It has also been optimized to handle bigger media libraries than ever before.
The user management allows you to create multiple accounts for your friends or family with individual permissions for each user. You can for example restrict accounts for your children to suitable movies only. Smart playlists get updated automatically whenever new matching titles are added to or removed from your library. You can import your media directly from the file system or from your existing iTunes, iPhoto and Aperture library. Download playlists for playback in most media players like Windows Media Player, iTunes or WinAmp. Play music and movies right inside your browser. Access your media library with the free iPhone and iPad apps. Developers can even create their own client applications with the REST API of the server.
The MyTunesRSS media server runs on Windows, Mac OS X 10.7.3 or Linux machines. With the browser based administration interface you can even run it on headless servers without any display.
