Independent developer, Erwin Zwart has released Lockscreen Wallpaper Designer 1.0, an app to create wallpapers designed to work with the iOS7 lockscreen. Due to the parallax effect and thin transparent UI elements, a lot of iOS7 users have difficulties finding a suitable lockscreen wallpaper. Lockscreen Wallpaper Designer solves this problem by creating a wallpaper which combines a user's picture with a dynamic generated blur matching the colours of the picture.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands - Independent developer, Erwin Zwart has released Lockscreen Wallpaper Designer, an app to create lockscreen wallpapers designed to work with the iOS7 lockscreen. The lockscreen plays an important part of the day to day experience with your device, since it's the first thing you see when waking up your device. However, a lot of iOS7 users have difficulties in finding a suitable lockscreen wallpaper, because of the parallax effect and the use of thin and transparent UI elements like the current time and date. Lockscreen Wallpaper Designer creates a wallpaper which combines one of the user's picture with a dynamically generated blur, resulting in a personal and clean looking lockscreen.

After choosing one of his own pictures, a user can edit his wallpaper by choosing one of the available masks defining the shape of the picture. The rest of the wallpaper will be filled with a dynamic generated blur using the colours of the chosen picture. The shape masks are carefully designed to fit between the current time and the slide to unlock controls. This way, both your picture and the user interface of the lockscreen are well visible.
