Ethinos Digital Marketing's 'Send Shiva to Sochi' campaign won a Gold in the Excellence in Digital Marketing Effectiveness category, at the 2nd Asian Customer Engagement Forum & Awards, held on May 23, 2014. The Customer Engagement Forum is the most prestigious conference on customer engagement, and has introduced awards for the finest customer engagement programs planned. This award comes close on the heels of two others that Ethinos recently won.

Mumbai, India - Continuing its feat of excelling in effective digital marketing solutions, Ethinos Digital Marketing has bagged another award, this time in the Digital Marketing Effectiveness category. The award, instituted by the 2nd Asian Customer Engagement Forum, was given to Ethinos for its 'Send Shiva to Sochi' campaign, planned and executed for its client Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ).
It was announced at an event which took place at ITC Grand Central, Mumbai, on May 23, 2014; and was preceded by the Customer Engagement Forum discussion.

The Customer Engagement Forum, founded in 2012-13, is one of Asia's largest communities of customer engagement and advocacy professionals, including the most innovative practitioners around. The forum is the most prestigious conference on customer engagement, and has introduced awards for the finest customer engagement programs planned, implemented and executed with the best ROI. From 172 entries, evaluated by a jury of eminent professionals like Carol Spieckerman, President, newmarketbuilders.com (The Right Brain if Retail); Nimal Wirasekara, MSLIM, MCIM, FASMI (Aus), HMIMM (SA), Chartered Marketer, and Marketing Management and Specialist, Council Member, International Chamber of Commerce, Centre Member, Organization of Professional Associations (Sri Lanka); and others from India and Sri Lanka; Send Shiva to Sochi made it to the finalists and eventually won the Gold, adding another feather to Ethinos' cap.

With a sound digital marketing strategy, Ethinos successfully generated an online contribution of more than Rs. 10 lakh by integrating social media, email marketing, content marketing, and a crowdsourced fundraising model in partnership with Ketto. The money thus raised funded Shiva Keshavan's participation in the 2013 Winter Olympics at Sochi.

This award comes close on the heels of two others that Ethinos recently won at the DMAi Echo India Awards; a Gold in the 'Marketing Effectiveness for Not-for-Profit' category for the 'Send Shiva to Sochi' campaign and a Silver in the 'Marketing Effectiveness for Publishing/ Entertainment' category for its 'NDTV Toyota UCC' campaign, for NDTV India.
