Juno Ju-X has released Hosting AU microDAW - a free OSX Audio Unit host - Published on 06/07/14
Juno Ju-X has released Hosting AU microDAW, a free and micro-sized digital audio workstation software for Mac OS X that hosts Apple's Audio Unit instrument and effect plugins. Because of its simplicity and robustness, it would be recommended to beginners who are willing to jump start making music without much learning, until professionals who desire a trustful tool to test and enjoy a lot of plugins without waiting long loading time.
Los Angeles, California - Juno Ju-X has released Hosting AU microDAW, a free and micro-sized digital audio workstation software for Mac OS X that hosts Apple's Audio Unit instrument and effect plugins. The app also comes with 4ch 1 mixer with external audio input, 24-bit recorder, and music-typing kind of feature called as "LazyKey". For those who have our Sequera or 3rd party MIDI sequencer, you can make any type of music that focuses on simplicity (for dancing or whatever!)
Mainly Hosting AU is recommended to those who are:
* Beginners (and who wants to teach them): As Hosting AU is the simplest DAW available today, you'll need to learn nothing more than very basic things such as what is a synth, what is a recording, what is MIDI and more
* Matured Musicians and Developers: As Hosting AU does the quickest job in every part from launching until quitting, plus it hosts even older plugins just after Intel-era on Snow Leopard or later to the latest Mavericks, you'll find a use:) It does not "wrap" any, things are connected and run very straightly, so you'll have best hosting result in terms of sonic quality, cpu memory efficiency, and lowest latency too
* Serious Music Listeners: As Hosting AU accepts Cycling 74's SoundFlower, you can virtually wire between Hosting AU and any other Mac apps that uses audio. Good thing is that you can insert effects after the input, so did you want to listen to internet radio better through your quality plugins? You can do that on the fly
System Requirements:
Mac OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard or later. (To use Hosting AU with older plugins, open it in 32-bit mode.) Hosting AU has only 500KB for its size, surprisingly that could be stored in 2DD floppy diskette! Just have one today, and give it a try!
