Waynesville, North Carolina - Independent developer, Joseph Scott Simmers is proud to announce the release of Lunch Spin 1.9, his new dining app developed for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Ready to eat? Just spin the wheel and the decision is made. Take the pressure off and experience new places. Select how far you want to go, and Lunch Spin presents destinations in the wheel of chance. Phone #, website, and GPS navigation to your lunch destination is provided.
"The idea originated from an office environment," explained Joseph Simmers developer of Lunch Spin. "Lunch time rolls around and people want to go out together, but nobody wants to pick the place. You get stuck going to the same ole places, because people are scared to suggest something new. This app will take all of the credit for choosing great places to eat. More importantly, if someone does not like the place... well... it was the app's fault."
Lunch Spin uses your GPS location to center a map. An automatic search looks in the map's region to fill the wheel with a list of places to eat. Resize the map or move it to a new location and refresh for a new list. After spinning the wheel, the selection place will display in the map. Tap the name in the map to choose Call, Website, and GPS navigation to your lunch destination. The GPS navigation will allow you to choose between Apple Maps and Google Maps if installed.
