Saint Petersburg, Florida - iPhone users have needed to charge their phone while at airports, coffee shops and restaurants. A brief lapse in concentration or misdirection can result in your phone being stolen. Protect-A-Phone (iOS and WP8) from Sonop Software provides a siren that will wake and alert you to your phone being tampered with by using multiple iPhone sensors. The charging alarm is great because it sounds the second that your phone stops charging so you know immediately when your phone is being tampered with, saving you the expense of having to purchase a new phone. Not being able to change batteries on an iPhone has been a strong driver for people using public power outlets to give them a boost through the day as their phones power down.

With iPhones costing the same as a small car payment, its become increasingly important to prevent their theft. Your car has an alarm; your phone should also be protected, after hearing about a friend's phone being stolen while they were at Starbucks, we decided that something had to be done about it. Sonop Software created this application to thwart the iPhone thieves efforts and prevent people from having to buy another phone at the cost of a small car.

Features:
* Charging alarm to let you know when your phone stops charging
* Optional Motion alarm alerts you when your phone is moved
* Selfie Shot takes a picture of anyone trying to unlock your phone and getting the wrong PIN code

With the app being out in the store for a few weeks now, our users have found all kinds of new ways to use their Protect-A-Phone alarms. Some users reported that they enjoyed catching their kids trying to unlock their phone, while others found it useful to know when their spouse had unplugged their phone in order to charge their own.

Our goal with Protect-A-Phone is to provide a safe way to publicly charge your iPhone. In countries like USA, South Africa, India, Australia and Brazil we are seeing the most need for phone theft prevention and we are happy to help out.
