Joonem was built by Parajola. It evolved out of a nifty marketing idea to promote sustainable products by allowing users to play puzzles of inspirational eco-friendly pictures. We looked for existing tools that could do this, but found that no one made something we truly loved. So, we decided to build something ourselves.

As the idea and project evolved, we noticed that creating puzzles was just fun! Why not make puzzles of our best friends, favorite bands, or vacation photos? Cute animals, urban graffiti, sunsets at the beach? All fair game, each entirely awesome. Because our images evoked feelings, memories, and aspirations, we knew the only way to go was to make this whole thing social. Joonem is the only puzzle creation app that can be played with friends. Get enough friends and you form a community. Joonem is a community of puzzle lovers, the place to see what others create, contribute your own puzzles, and engage your mind in puzzle play.
