WaterField Designs Unveils Cycling Ride Pouch with iPhone Window - Published on 07/30/14

A clear iPhone window allows cyclists using the WaterField Designs Cycling Ride Pouch - a new leather cycling toolkit - to view MapMyRide and texts without removing the phone. Manufactured entirely in the U.S. and sized to fit perfectly into a bike jersey pocket, the premium leather Cycling Ride Pouch holds spare tubes, tire levers, a bike tool, an air cartridge, tire patches, credit cards, cash and an iPhone - all in one organized lightweight case.

San Francisco, California - WaterField Designs, a local San Francisco manufacturer of laptop sleeves, bags and cases for digital gear, has entered the cycling market with the introduction of the Cycling Ride Pouch - an upscale toolkit with a scratch-free iPhone slot that allows cyclists to access basic iPhone functions without removing the device. Sized to fit perfectly into a bike jersey pocket, the premium leather Cycling Ride Pouch holds spare tubes, tire levers, a bike tool, an air cartridge, tire patches, credit cards, cash and an iPhone - all in one organized lightweight case.

"Inspired by the cycling collective, Velominati's, Rule #31 - "Spare tubes, multi-tools and repair kits should be stored in jersey pockets - we wanted our toolkit to hold all of these plus basic wallet contents, and - most importantly - include an iPhone pocket with a clear window," explained owner Gary Waterfield. "With this Pouch we can view important texts and MapMyRide without having to stop and take out our iPhone."

The Cycling Ride Pouch specifications:
* Brown or black full-grain, distressed leather sourced from few remaining American tanneries
* Lightly padded iPhone slot with clear window allows phone access without removal
* Interior pockets for cash, cards and ID
* Soft main compartment fits spare tube, tire levers, bike tool, air cartridge, and patches
* YKK self-locking zippers secure all contents
* Exact fit to a cycling jersey pocket

The Cycling Ride Pouch was designed in collaboration with ELEVEN Velo of Australia, and is manufactured entirely in San Francisco by WaterField Designs. The Ultrasuede(R)-lined main compartment holds a tube, tools, air cartridge, tire levers, and patches. Two internal pockets hold cash, ID and cards. A scratch-free padded slot with a clear front window fits an iPhone 5. Durable YKK self-locking zippers unzip on three sides so the Pouch lies flat on the road during repairs. The Pouch is sized to fit exactly into a cycling jersey pocket and to lie flat for ultimate comfort.
