BaraLabs volleyball update brings new iPad and iOS 8 support plus more - Published on 09/18/14

BaraLabs has improved on the family & friends volleyball scoring app, VBall ScoreMaster. The latest version includes a new iPad layout, colorful themes, iOS 8 support, and FAQ/feedback/notification support. This app is targeted to parents and friends of club, high school, and middle school volleyball players. Customers have been asking for iPad support and new colors. The new FAQ's and feedback options allow users better interaction with the app's developer.

Oswego, Illinois - BaraLabs, a iOS development company, has just released an update to their popular iOS app, VBall ScoreMaster. The app now supports running natively on the iPad (all versions, including the iPad Mini). With the bigger screen comes the ability to control more of the app's colors. Three new color themes have been added: Colorful, Dark, and Regular. All these themes feature new, flat colors that take advantage of the latest iOS look-and-feel.

FAQ, feedback, and developer notifications were added to improve the app's usability. Customers can view FAQ's that will be continually updated by the BaraLabs because they're hosted on a web server that is accessed by the app. Customers can use the new Feedback form to send their questions or comments directly to the developer. BaraLabs can also update the Notifications section in real-time and customers can access it without waiting for new updates to show up in the App Store.

"This is the largest, most significant update we've put out since we first showed up in the App Store", says BaraLabs founder and developer, Frank Bara. "At games, parents would be asking me 'When can we use our iPads?'. That time is now and the app looks fantastic on the bigger screen. The new color schemes allow you to be as bright or dark as you want. People seem to like that," said Bara.

This app is targeted to parents and friends of club, high school, and middle school volleyball players. You can quickly keep score of games and send pre-formatted text notifications to anyone easily from within the app. The text message is already filled out with the name of the player, the score, and the name & number of the 'Action Name'. These are common volleyball terms that apply to a player's actions. Bara continued, "My wife would want to know how our boys were doing and I would end up missing the action because I was busy typing a text message to her. I built into the app the ability to quickly send a text message. I don't even have to look at the screen, I just tap 'Send' and the message is done!"

The app contains many features that parents, grand-parents, and friends of player can find helpful, and it's only $0.99 in the App Store. Development will continue with a planned addition Facebook and Twitter integration. Customers can use the included Feedback form to request new features.
