Meadows Publishing Solutions and Kodak have recently announced that the Meadows DesignMerge Pro Variable Data Software has been tested and approved for use with the Kodak NexPress Digital Production Color Press. Using DesignMerge, VDP jobs designed for the NexPress Fifth Imaging Station inks are very easy to implement. Ink colors such as Gold or Red Fluorescing can be used for specialty VDP applications. These are eye-catching personalized overlays, or hidden, variable security information.

DesignMerge is a professional Variable Data Printing (VDP) software package that works directly with Adobe InDesign. The software is ideal for data-driven VDP applications, from relatively simple, multi-up consecutive numbering and bar coding jobs, to sophisticated, personalized direct mail pieces.

"DesignMerge provides a straightforward, single-step capability to use the unique Kodak NexPress Fifth Imaging Station inks as variable data directly within the application.
