The new iOS 8 app extension lets you check and remove metadata right inside the Photos Library.

And if you care about privacy before sharing your photos to public, erasing all sensitive metadata is easily done by Remove Metadata feature. The change is directly applied to the photo in Photos Library, so you don't need to create duplicated mess. Even better, it is non-destructive operation so that you can restore metadata later.
