Triankle Inc. has released Selfie X, a free social media app that blends the best elements of photo-sharing social media into a single, superior service that is both fun and safe. Available in a large array of languages, Selfie X can take you globally to meet friends around the world or meet new people in your own community. To use the service, users simply share a selfie with another user and enable messaging after a selfie-exchange.

Seoul, South Korea - Triankle Inc. has released Selfie X, a free social media app that blends the best elements of photo-sharing social media into a single, superior service that is both fun and safe. Selfie X has a simple premise with excellent features that take it a cut above similar apps. To use the service, users simply share a selfie with another user and enable messaging after a selfie-exchange. If the feature is enabled, the reaction video of the recipient opening and viewing their sent selfie is sent immediately to the original sender.

The reaction video as well as the swapped selfies disappear after being viewed, so those moments are kept private and exclusive to those they are shared with. The app can also check to see who's using Selfie X nearby (or in locations around the world) to use as a chat starter to exchange selfies and grow the user's personal network.All registered users will have the mobile web address, such as selfieex.com/user name, and users can boast this mobile album of selfies posted on Selfie X, to their friends.

"We saw the selfie boom as a way to share one's identity and thought, why not allow people to connect over sharing their selfies in a safer way? This allows users to communicate locally and globally with those they already know and those they have yet to meet," said developing company Triankle Inc. representative Sang June Lee.

The app can be connected optionally to the user's existing Facebook and Twitter accounts to share their selfies and their selfie galleries. The app will also inform the user on who has been viewing their profile, giving them more information on their audience as well.

In its newest version 2.1.0, Selfie X is optimized for iOS8 and has support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Bugs that users have experienced have also been addressed.
