Innovative new contact management app aims to reach 100 million users - Published on 03/20/15

Scots businessman Sean Connaughton, announces Ultimate Contact Manager (UMC) for iOS and Android devices, a smart app that keeps all of your contact information accurate, up to date and in one secure place. Users are able to separate their personal life from their work life by creating personal and work profiles and decide who one shares particular contact details. UMC works discreetly in the background to keep your contact details accurate. Development is underway for Windows & Mac.

Glasgow, United Kingdom - An innovative new contact management app rolls out today, with plans to reach 100 million users in 18 months. UCM is the Ultimate Contact Manager - a smart app that keeps all of your contact information accurate, up to date and in one secure place. The brainchild of Scots businessman Sean Connaughton, UCM is "must-have", in that it is compatible across all platforms and devices, so whether you use IOS or Android, phone or tablet, or even a combination of them all, you can still access your information.

"Put simply, UCM means any contact, any device, anywhere - you will never lose touch with any of your contacts ever again," says Connaughton. "When your contact updates their information, we update yours. We're incredibly proud of UCM, and are excited to launch on both IOS and Android today, with Windows and Mac following in the near future."

He came up with the idea for this smart app in 2013 when he was planning to launch a new business venture and wanted to reach out to all his contacts to share his good news. He discovered many of his contacts were duplicates, and even more were out of date information - UCM was born. He has been working on UCM for almost 2 years and has ambitious plans for the business.

"I'm aiming to have 100 million users worldwide in 18 months - any contact, any device, anywhere. It's as simple as that," says Connaughton. "My ultimate goal is to have UCM as the default contact management app for every operating system, preloaded onto all IOS, Android and Windows devices."

The UCM team will remain in Scotland and grow over the next two years, with 15-30 fulltime staff in development, design and marketing.
