Rally - The First Social Nightwork Launches Public Beta Today - Published on 03/19/15

Independent developers Alex Ratner and Tyler Costantino have anmounced Rally. It takes the guessing game out of who is available tonight and provides the only app friends need to plan, share and relive each night. Friends can see who is available tonight using color coded statuses, form groups that last just tonight, and more. That and more makes Rally the best nightlife app available. Recently, Rally was featured as a Launch Festival Finalist and has launched a public beta.

Boston, Massachusetts - Independent developers Alex Ratner and Tyler Costantino have introduced Rally, the first Social Nightwork. It lets users know which of their friends are available tonight, form groups with those friends to make plans, take photos only after 6 pm, and figure out where they went the night before with a path that is generated for use in case they had a bit too much fun. The app lets users know who is available by having friends set color-coded statuses (green - available, yellow - not sure, red - not available), as well as hashtags stating what they are interested in doing. Statuses reset daily to ensure that they are always indicative of tonight's availability. In addition, the groups reset the next morning to take out the hassle of being in endless group chats.

With Rally, friends no longer have to text or message large groups of friends because they know who is available tonight easier than ever with just a glance. This takes out the exhausting guessing game from the plan making process and provides a single platform for friends to make the most of the night.

Rally is also changing the way friends share locations. Now, the user can give context to their current location by attaching a note to a map to say if it is worth meeting up at or how long that user plans to be there. Again, stopping friends from texting back and forth to find out where each other are.

"This is going to change the way people go out. It's such a fragmented time of day with friends using multiple apps to accomplish seemingly simple tasks like finding out who is available tonight. Group apps are not reliable mediums anymore because friends are often a part of so many groups it becomes difficult to manage. Rally will be the simple solution to the complex problem that is figuring out your night." - Alex Ratner CEO

Having both recently graduated college and then moved to big cities, Alex and Tyler realized the issue of planning a night out with friends was still way harder than it should be and the rest was history. The goal of Rally is to be the only app friends need to plan, share and relive their night.

Rally is addressing an incredible need in an enormous market. "What are you doing tonight?" or "Where are you?" are questions constantly asked by college students and young adults alike, yet these is no easy or reliable method to get a straight answer. Texting is tedious and sending the same message to multiple people is annoying; traditional group chats such as GroupMe lack focus. Rally's solution is an all in one social app dedicated entirely to nightlife.
