Drylab R&D has announced Dailies Creator 2.3 for Mac OS X. Creator is part of an integrated system for distributing digital dailies, successfully used by film & TV drama productions all over the world. Now, the DIT can provide the DP, producer, director, script supervisor, & others with Retina display ready dailies viewable on their own specially configured iPads. Oslo, Norway - Drylab R&D has announced Dailies Creator 2.3, with a new and flexible subscription model, tailored for freelancers. Creator ingests QuickTime-compatible files, transcodes to H.264, organizes them into shots, scenes, takes, and adds rich metadata. Clips and metadata are securely distributed to authorized iPads on-set or off (via the cloud). It improves collaboration, saves time and money, preserves artistic vision, and increases the quality of the finished production. Dailies Creator is unique in combining on-set metadata collection and intuitive, fast and rich metadata-based navigation.

Pricing and Availability:
Dailies Creator and Viewer are free downloads but require a paid subscription. Set Report is a paid App Store download. Subscriptions are sold on per-device, per-month basis (EUR 100 for Viewer, EUR 50 for Set Report integration), with EUR 500 base price per production. The Drylab Dailies system is also available for resellers wishing to provide the service to their customers, with optional white labelling.
