Chicago, Illinois - Molly Connolly has announced dates for the next FileMaker online training class, JumpStartFM. The course begins June 1, 2015 and concludes June 25, 2015. FileMaker professionals who register before May 1, 2015 will receive an "early bird" discount that saves $250 on the usual course fee. FMPug members receive an additional discount of $250.

JumpStart FM was designed by Molly Thorsen Connolly, a custom software developer, FileMaker instructor, and business coach.Connolly designed the course to help busy developers to take their skills to the next level.

"The teaching team offers rich experience in custom FileMaker software development and project management," says Connolly."The cost of bringing these quality instructors together in a physical classroom would exclude most independent software developers from taking part and even many mid-sized businesses."

JumpStartFM is 100 percent online and includes webinars, one-on-one feedback, coaching support and code reviews from a team of top instructors.

"Workshops, videos and books are a great resource to the developer community, but they are missing the oversight, direction and feedback to develop your skills and move forward in your career," says Connolly.

The JumpStartFM course format allows students to work at a pace that is consistent with their abilities and the distance-learning format is flexible enough to accommodate existing work and personal commitments. Connolly says,

"After four weeks, students who complete JumpStartFM come away with a solid understanding of the software development process, specific, marketable technical skills and a plan to continue their building their technical skills. Many of my students are sponsored by organizations that are looking for increased productivity from employees. Other students come into the program looking for jobs and we've had a great deal of success helping place graduates in paid positions."
