Barcelona, Spain - The new era of DJing has already started and deej wants to be an important ally of all mobile DJs out there. Inqbarna, the company behind deej, presents deej Lite, the ultimate tool for mobile DJing, a free full-feature DJ mixer. With deej Lite you can initiate in the DJing world by mixing, recording and sharing your own music sessions.

deej Lite launches with the exact same features as its big brother deej, but launches as a free app with no ads. How is that possible? The Lite version allows you to use all the features, but with just 10 songs from your library. You can share the app via Facebook or Twitter to get 10 extra songs and if you want to use unlimited songs, then you need to upgrade to deej on the App Store.

The new version also includes the brand new skins, so users can choose between 3 different designs for their DJ mixer. "Design is one of the key aspects right now on the App Store and we wanted to make our DJ mixer suitable for every DJ: from the technical & classic ones to the most arty people on the DJ environment", says Nacho Sanchez, Inqbarna's CEO.

On the technical side, deej Lite 5.1 brings iOS 8 and iPhone 6 support as well as the Mixcloud integration. deej is the first DJ app integrated with the best cloud service for electronic music lovers. Now everyone can mix & upload their own Cloudcasts to Mixcloud and let the world enjoy their music sessions.

Mixcloud is the leading cloud service for music lovers. They offer stream of curated content in their Cloudcasts that allow you to listen to endless hours of music and radio for free. It is the most valued service for DJs and EDM enthusiasts because they offer great curated content with no limitations when you want to upload your own mixes. And, of course, it is free.

Other options are for users to share their music sessions to Soundcloud and Dropbox. "Our aim is to make the music uploading process as easy as possible. With deej Lite users can mix, record and share their sessions within the app with just a couple of clicks, and that is something DJs love, because they can focus on music, and that's what they really want", adds Nacho Sanchez.

There is plenty of room to improve the app, and developers are working hard to add a music streaming service to deej. That way, users will no longer need to have stored their music on their devices and they will be able to DJ with any song they want from the streaming service.

"We keep improving the app and users keep supporting it because it saves them money (around $500 for a mid-range DJ set) and time (DJs can mix everywhere. Is as portable as an iPad/iPhone). And, we want to empower those benefits by improving the app technically and adding new music sources and social skills for DJs to spread the word with their own music", Nacho says.

"deej" turns your iPhone or iPad into an interactive and addictive mixing table with the music of your library. "deej" has been designed encompassing both amateur, as well as, professional DJs. deej is known for being one of the most reliable tools on the App Store for DJ's, and developers want to keep that position in the market: "When you offer a tool, all the user wants is for it to be reliable. We want deej to keep an easy UI, everything can be seen on screen, no navigation needed. That's basic when you are focused on creating music, all your attention must be on the music, not on the tool," adds Mr. Sanchez. Keeping it simple is one of the hardest tasks they face when adding new features to the app, but users feedback seem to reinforce their vision of the mobile music apps.

With over 1 million unique users within all versions of deej, the development team is now ready for new challenges, and they want to explore the social part of the mobile world. The first step was taken with this Mixcloud integration but they think that communicating with other users with the same interests will be the future of mobile apps and they want to go one step further. "We are working both in the social part of music and developing new technical features for DJs to improve their music experience" says Nacho.
