TalkToChef is presenting their world's first video cooking hotline at Collision Conference, held on May 5-6, 2015, in Las Vegas. During the event TalkToChef team featuring two chef-ambassadors who will give a live demo of their service, and the associated mobile apps. Using two-way streaming video technology, TalkToChef allows instant communication in real time without interrupting the cooking process, which can best be described as "Uber for culinary advice."

San Francisco, California - TalkToChef, the first micro-consulting platform to connect home cooks and foodies to the professional chefs via video chat, is one of 60 startups chosen for the pitch competition at Collision Conference held on May 5-6, 2015 in Las Vegas. During the event, the TalkToChef team, featuring two chefs-ambassadors, will give a live demo of their service and will launch the new Android app.

Using two-way streaming video technology, TalkToChef allows instant communication in real time without interrupting the cooking process, which can best be described as "Uber for culinary advice". TalkToChef.com can be reached online through any computer or iOS device, and soon via the Android app. The company also provides a special widget for partnering culinary websites and food blogs.

TalkToChef features more than 2,000 chefs from different countries and is aimed to increase their presence worldwide. Featuring professionals from different cuisines and cultures, TalkToChef is a one-stop service for those who wants to learn cooking, seek inspiration, wants to improve their meal, or follows a specific diet.

On April 20, Start-Up Chile announced TalkToChef as one of 90 global startups to participate in the entrepreneurial program of the Chile's government. Apart from the grant of 20 million pesos, (about $35,000 USD), TalkToChef will get access to the biggest startup community in the world to accelerate their business.

Collision is the sister event of the Web Summit in Europe, one of the fastest growing tech conference in the world. Called "Davos for geeks," Collision is anticipating 15,000 attendees, including leading investors, media and over 1,000 featured startups.

Start-Up Chile program is part of Chile's economic development agency Corfo. The program was created in 2010 and attracts early stage, high-potential entrepreneurs from around the world to bootstrap their startups in Chile. Start-Up Chile has created a solid ground as an innovation hub to reach the rest of Latin America.
