Boston, Massachusetts - Atlantia Software today announces the immediate availability of the latest version of its musical interval timer app TuneTime, adding a full-featured Apple Watch app ahead of the device launch later this month. A slimmed down version of the iOS app, the watch extension allows users to see the most important workout information at a glance. By opening the app during any workout, a user has instant access to the current interval name, time, total count, and next interval. Rounding out the features for the Apple Watch app are the abilities to pause/resume the current workout as well as advance or go back in the music playlist.

"The Apple Watch is at its core, an insanely great fitness device, so it felt like a totally natural fit for an interval timer like TuneTime," said the app's developer Nick Bonatsakis when asked about the motivation behind the update. "The challenge was really around choosing only the most critical pieces of information to present, given the small screen size and quick interaction times," he added. When asked about his favorite feature, he replied "I think the ability to control playback right from your wrist will be huge. The typical use-case for the iOS app is to start the workout and toss your device somewhere while you go through the motions. With the Apple Watch, you'll be able to skip through songs without interruption."
