UK based Tubenav Ltd has announced Tubenav 0.1.2, London's first fully interactive Tube map for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Tubenav is the very first app to let you search, browse and discover places, events and popular hotspots. Click on a station and instantly find the top recommended places in that area. Tubenav also tracks and recommends things that are happening in real-time across the city. Tubenav keeps everything in one single reliable view - the Tube Map.

London, United Kingdom - We all know and love the tube map. It's one of the cornerstones of London alongside Camden Market, Platform 9 3/4 and The Monarchy. But how do you make sense of such a complex and multi-faceted city? Well three London-obsessed Entrepreneurs decided to simplify London whilst highlighting its vibrancy in creating London's first fully interactive Tube Map App. Rather than the static paper tube map we're all accustomed to, Tubenav lets you search for and discover places and events all over London - all in one view.

Tubenav works because sometimes you just need to cut through the endless and complicated streams of what to do and just simply click on where you are or where you plan to be. With Tubenav you can do just that. Click on a station and instantly find the top recommended places in that area. Tubenav also tracks and recommends things that are happening in real-time across the city. So this weekend being the London Marathon - Tubenav will suggest to you in real-time top viewpoints to catch the thousands of runners hitting the streets of London on Sunday 26th April.

Features:
* Tap on any station to find place and event recommendations
* Search for places using the interactive search bar

The founders, Michael Boham, Daniel Botcherby and Jonathan Holt, who came together in 2013, realised the key to bringing Tubenav to life wasn't in complicating the 270 underground stations. It was actually in simplifying the experience of discovery and navigation using the map. In keeping it simple for tourists and Londoners alike, Tubenav shows only the highest rated places in London.

Tubenav's algorithms have taken two years of development, approval from TFL and a myriad of partnerships. We aren't looking at the latest fresh new app of the week, we're seeing the launch of a company with the expertise and backing to create a real change in the future of London.
