Bristol, United Kingdom - EBF Secure is happy to announce the release of Safe Browser Secure 1.0.1 for iOS, a comprehensive privacy app that allows the use of anonymous proxies, or the TOR network to allow anonymous web browsing, where the web site can't identify the user, and anyone observing the user's connection can't identify which website has been accessed. Safe Browser secure is the only Apple iOS TOR browser that supports TOR pluggable transports (obfs2, obfs3 and ScrambleSuit).

Safe Browser Secure allows TOR to be used where the authorities use Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) to block access to TOR. This includes the "Great Firewall of China". Safe Browser Secure is a very robust secure TOR browser. Safe Browser Secure does not leak the user's IP address when accessing video. This vulnerability has been identified in many mobile phone TOR browsers.

Safe Browser Secure allows the user to take photos, and capture audio and video unobtrusively. These are stored, together with downloaded and edited content, encrypted using military grade 256 bit encryption. No-one can decrypt this data without the user's password. Decoy passwords can be used to provide plausible deniability. The app supports a fully featured image gallery. Here you can view and organize your files. There is a slideshow for images or videos. A safety feature will mute the volume when a video is started - to prevent accidents. Files can also be exported out from the app or moved to and from the public area which is accessible from iTunes.
