Shari Free 1.4 for iOS - Challenging Puzzle Game Updated - Published on 07/21/15
Independent developer Jurgen Terpe announces the release of Shari Free 1.4, the important update to his challenging puzzle game for iOS devices. Shari is a puzzle game in the classic sense: the player has to bring together two or more gaming pieces of the same type at the same level. To bring together gaming pieces on different floors, elevators and portals can be used. The update includes 15 new levels, a new "timeless"mode, easy and hard playing levels, and visible detonation radius for bombs.
Halle/Saale, Germany - Independent developer Jurgen Terpe is proud to announce the release of Shari Free 1.4, the important update to his challenging puzzle game for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Shari is a puzzle game in the classic sense: the player has to bring together two or more gaming pieces of the same type at the same level. To bring together gaming pieces on different floors, elevators and portals can be used. When gaming pieces of the same type are touching they are cleared and the player receives scores. This is not always easy because sometimes players have to blow away obstacles first and they have to pay attention to the many flamethrowers on the way.
The basic gameplay stays the same, but there are many smaller improvements. A new game mode, "timeless," is now available where all now 75 levels can be solved without any time pressure. In the other two modes, "easy" and "heavy," the player needs to solve the levels in limited time. When the time is out before solving a level the player gets 10 seconds on the next run. Many smaller improvements make the game play more intuitive and just in case somebody does not know what to do - the complete rules of the game are now also available for reading.

Shari's first release was in May. It was written by a single developer for iPhone and iPad with iOS version 8.1 in Apple's new programming Swift. A month later a free-to-play version of the title became available, with 24 free playable levels to try out and an in-app purchase for $0.99 to play the full game. The premium version will be offered free of charge for one day each over the next few weekends.
