IGG Software has announced iBank 5.6, an important update to its leading flagship money management software for Mac OS X. With iBank, anyone can create budgets and control spending, increase savings and analyze investments, set goals and so much more. Version 5.6 introduces several new features as well as important bug fixes, offering better detailed payment information for online bill payments, significant improvements to its import engine and more.

Putney, Vermont - IGG Software has announced the release of iBank 5.6, introducing important bug fixes and several new features to its leading flagship money management software for Mac OS X.

"iBank 5.6 marks the 14th product upgrade since its initial release on November 19, 2013," say IGG's CEO Ian Gillespie, "demonstrating our commitment to continually supporting and improving the iBank product."

iBank 5.6 offers better detailed payment information for online bill payments including payment history, account numbers and payee addresses. The release also includes an in-app messaging system which will allow IGG to proactively communicate support issues to customers.

Another significant enhancement to iBank 5.6 are improvements in iBank's import engine, providing better handling with import rules for pending status credit card transactions.

In addition, iBank 5.6 marks the end of the beta phase for iBank's Cloud Sync introduced in iBank 5.5. Cloud Sync allows seamless and secure integration between iBank products on Mac's, iPad's and iPhone's.

"Bringing Cloud Sync to the iBank family of products is major advancement," says Gillespie, "It makes it easier than ever to have all of your data up-to-date on any device. It also "frees" you from having the Mac desktop be the central hub of your finances. For those that have gone iOS-only, you'll be able to sync just your iPads and iPhones. One other 'side-effect' is that you will also always have a backup of their data. We are really looking forward to getting this exciting technology in your hands."
