Ljubljana, Slovenia - Team Future is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Future 1.0, new kind of calendar app for iPhone and Apple Watch devices. Future is a calendar mapped to the hour dial of a clock. It allows anyone to instantly tell the time and relate it to their up-comings. The key design element of Future is a 24-hour spiral timeline, which holds a person's schedule. By rotating the hour hand you can move further along the timeline and see your events in days to come.

Future offers complete iOS system calendar integration, including multiple calendars, color-coded events and all day events. It is possible to create, edit or view event details by tapping on the spiral (using 3D Touch if available). A notification center widget and Apple Watch app are also available.

Future was created because calendar's grid-like, text heavy structure makes it difficult to read in our day-to-day lives. A calendar provides an informative outlook over longer periods of time, such as weeks and months, but when it comes to the present we need to use it with a clock to orient ourselves in time. Future is a fusion of a calendar and a clock, which ends up being significantly easier to use than the former two separately. It matches our intuitive construction of time, making it easy to read.
