SqueakBack: Interactive In-App Feedback - Published on 12/11/15
California based Pelfunc Inc. has launched SqueakBack, a iOS developer focused service that lets you get rich, interactive feedback from test users, right inside your app. Testers create messages by drawing, zooming and commenting on screens that play back like movies. These "SqueakBacks" are quickly and securely uploaded to your private control panel where you can organize them with your team and get additional device and user steps information.
San Diego, California - Pelfunc Inc. has launched SqueakBack, a iOS developer focused service that lets you get rich, interactive feedback from test users, right inside your app. Testers create messages by drawing, zooming and commenting on screens that play back like movies. These "SqueakBacks" are quickly and securely uploaded to your private control panel where you can organize them with your team and get additional device and user steps information.
Anywhere in your app, with a two-finger triple tap (or customizable gesture) SqueakBack jumps into action and let reviewers leave voice comments, markup and zoom in on the screen. Using a customizable tagging system, screens are automatically grouped together for easy reference. SqueakBacks also carry information such as the phone model used, version and build numbers, operating system, and remaining space. A customizable event system lets you get insight into what happened leading up to the user giving feedback. For example, what button they tapped or if there was a low-memory condition.
Best of all, integrating SqueakBack with your app is trivial. Simply drag the SqueakBack Framework to your project and start it up using one line of Swift or Objective-C with an API key. SqueakBack is also available for integration with CocoaPods. Trying it is free and no credit card is required. Rich, useful feedback is just a triple-tap away.
Pelfunc offers four pricing tiers (with each tier having limits based on number of apps, number of SqueakBacks, number of team collaborators):
* Free tier, targeted towards publishers wanting to try out the service with no credit card required
* Starter tier, targeted toward Indie developers at $7/month
* Premium tier targeted towards Small and Medium App publishers at $25/month
* Enterprise tier target towards Large App publishers at $49/month
Please contact Pelfunc for any customized requirements such as white labeling SqueakBack, obtaining directed feedback from testers, getting crash-logs or interfacing with bug-tracking systems.
