Barcelona based development studio, Dark Curry today introduces Equalicious 1.0, an entertaining new mobile game for iOS, Android and Windows Mobile. Equalicious allows anyone to sharpen their math skills without sacrificing fun. Players rearrange tiles to solve equations as simple as 1+1 to start, but the challenges ramp up quickly. Deceptively simple to start, Equalicious encompasses 72 increasingly challenging levels, with equations building upon one other both horizontally and vertically.

Barcelona, Spain - Dark Curry today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Equalicious 1.0, an entertaining new mobile game that allows users to sharpen their math skills without sacrificing fun. Players rearrange tiles to solve equations as simple as 1+1 to start, but the challenges ramp up quickly. Equalicious is a free download on the iTunes App Store, Google Play, and Windows Store.

"Who says you can't do your math and have fun too?" asks Pau Illan, co-founder of Dark Curry. "Equalicious is about creating a positive environment that helps players develop math skills while immersed in a remarkably entertaining 3D adventure."

Deceptively simple to start, Equalicious encompasses 72 increasingly challenging levels, with equations building upon one other both horizontally and vertically. Each level allows for a limited number of moves, and players earn coins for solving the level in the least number possible. The difficulty level was painstakingly tested to be just right, always aiming to hold the user's interest without causing frustration.

"We designed Equalicious as a great tool for sharpening your mental math skills, but above all it's a game," says Illan. "It had to be fun for all ages, and I think we succeeded in that."

The fun is not just for one. Users can connect via Facebook to view just how far their friends have traveled in the 3D world. Players can challenge friends or start a match against a random opponent at any time. In the multiplayer version, the player who completes the equation in the shortest time wins the round.

Even in single-player mode, players will never feel alone. An Equalicious guide walks players through hints and clues as they progress. When stuck on a challenging level, players can exchange coins earned for a little extra help. Powerups allow for a way to check which tiles are in the correct position, move a selected tile to the right place, or swap two tiles.
