The tvOS companion app for Remote Buddy allows users to see, hear & control their Mac from their Apple TV using the Siri Remote.

Today, IOSPIRIT GmbH announced the immediate availability of Remote Buddy Display 1.1, adding new and much-requested features:

* Audio Support joins High Performance Screen Sharing
Version 1.1 adds the much-requested audio support, so that Apple TV users can now see and hear content they play back on their Mac. A new "Audio" menu inside the app also provides users with the ability to select a different system audio output - and to control volume.

* Support for Bluetooth Keyboards
tvOS 9.2 added the ability to connect Bluetooth keyboards to the Apple TV - and Remote Buddy Display 1.1 is taking full advantage of that: any text typed on a connected keyboard during a session is now sent directly to the Mac - including most key combinations.

* Hiding the mouse cursor
While the "Trackpad" and "Keyboard" modes of Remote Buddy Display rely on the mouse cursor as primary interaction model, the "Remote" mode is built on actions that directly control applications. Since a mouse cursor is not needed (and often unwanted) in that mode, Remote Buddy Display now hides it automatically when the mouse hasn't been moved for a few seconds.

System Requirements:
Requires a Mac with OS X running Remote Buddy 1.28.1 or later.

Pricing and Availability:
Remote Buddy Display is a free app and available now on the Apple TV App Store. Search for "Remote Buddy Display" on the Apple TV to download it. Licenses for Remote Buddy for the Mac are sold separately and not included with the Remote Buddy Display app.
