Focus Matrix for iOS: Personal Organizer Based on the Eisenhower Method - Published on 06/30/16

XwaveSoft today announces Focus Matrix 1.0, their smart personal organizer app for iOS devices. Focus Matrix is based on the Eisenhower Box method, a personal productivity strategy created by the 34th President of the U.S., Dwight Eisenhower. The app breaks tasks down into one of four color-coded boxes, representing the urgency and importance of the tasks. This allows anyone to focus on the tasks that really matter, without getting caught up in those that can be delegated, or dealt with later.

Odessa, Ukraine - XwaveSoft today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Focus Matrix 1.0, their smart personal organizer app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. Focus Matrix is based on a personal productivity strategy created by Dwight Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States. The "Eisenhower Box" method of task priority organization uses a four-square, color-coded matrix that allows anyone to identify at a glance which tasks are immediately pressing, and which tasks can be safely put off, or delegated to someone else.

Focus Matrix breaks a user's tasks into one of four groups: "Important & Urgent," "Important & Not Urgent," "Not Important & Urgent," and "Not Important & Not Urgent." The app's matrix layout offers a quick snapshot showing which tasks need to be immediately taken care of, and which tasks can be pushed back until a later date, or even simply delegated to someone else for completion.

"United States President Dwight Eisenhower was an incredibly organized individual. During his time in office, he initiated the development of the U.S. Interstate Highway System, launched the NASA space program, and founded programs to study the peaceful use of atomic energy," says XwaveSoft owner Denys Yevenko. "When I first began developing Focus Matrix, I knew the Eisenhower Box method as developed by the President was the only process that would make the app successful. No other method so easily identifies a user's pressing tasks at a glance, helping them increase their productivity almost immediately!"

Entering a task is a quick and easy process. With a quick tap of the "+" icon, users can enter the task's title, the section of the matrix it should be categorized into, any pertinent notes, and a due date. Users can also indicate if the task should be shared with "Be Focused," another task oriented app for iOS devices, also available from XwaveSoft. Plus, any categorizing tags the user wishes to add can also be entered for easy organization and searching.

The handy, built-in alarm function provides important reminders as a task's due date nears. As priorities change, re-ordering a task in a section, or even moving a task to a different section of the matrix, is a simple matter of tap, drag, and drop. Tasks can also be filtered for easier viewing of completed and uncompleted tasks. The app's handy search function makes finding tasks buried in long lists a breeze.

Key Features of the app include:
* Two views: Matrix and List of Sections
* Easily move tasks between sections using tap, drag, and drop
* Maximize a section to get a closer look at its content
* Assign due dates to tasks
* Set reminders to never miss an important deadline

* Efficient search and tags support
* Easy task filtering by tags and statuses (completed/uncompleted)
* Configurable statistics and reports for completed tasks

* Integration with Be Focused*: Synchronizing tasks and their statuses, ability to start a Be Focused timer

* Be Focused helps users get things done by breaking up individual tasks among discrete intervals. The app is available for Mac and iOS devices in the App Store.

"Focus Matrix was designed from the ground up to be the most efficient way of categorizing tasks available for iOS devices," continues Denys. "By making use of the app's 'Eisenhower Box' method of task prioritizing, anyone can easily see at a glance which tasks they should be working on, and which tasks can wait until later."
