iPhone app provides daily inspiration - Published on 08/18/16

California based BrushMedia today introduces Daily Sage 1.0.3, the company's new lifestyle app developed exclusively for iOS devices. Daily Sage: Life's best advice, delivered daily is a light-weight app that delivers a quick, unobtrusive, inspirational message, every morning. Subscribers can use these affirmations to meditate, appreciate and potentially share. All advice is hand-selected by our small network of professional entrepreneurs, mental health counselors, life coaches and comedians.

Los Angeles, California - BrushMedia today is very pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Daily Sage 1.0.3, the company's new lifestyle app developed for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The app is lightweight and delivers a quick, unobtrusive, but inspirational message, to users every morning. Christian Brescia, an accomplished entrepreneur and the chief software architect at Brushmedia Software, announced the launch of the locally crafted and created app which is available for download through Apple's App Store today.

The idea hit Brescia when he was returning from a recent international holiday. After a few difficult months, he escaped to mentally regroup. During his return, he scrolled through years of inspirational quotes he collected and kept on his iPhone. They regularly served as a mental pep-talk. But, Brescia was dismayed when he realized he didn't revisit the collection very often. He wondered, "Why don't I have these affirmations daily?" Then, inspiration struck! He immediately began sketching the architecture of a new app: Daily Sage.

Daily Sage sends you "Life's best advice" as a push notification, once a day. Brescia is working with a select group of professional entrepreneurs, mental health counselors, life coaches and comedians to craft and curate the once-a-day collection. Each contributor personally crafts the daily message (with matching high-resolution art) users will receive. Users can share the day's message with their friends using SMS, Email, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Instagram or even build their own personal collection by saving it to their camera roll. If users have something truly inspirational that they'd like to share, the app also lets them submit their favorite quotes to be reviewed and possibly besmeared.

Highlights:
* Sends a push notification, once a day. Most will arrive at 9a, local time
* Provides a curated collection of "sage" advice from professional entrepreneurs, mental health counselors, life coaches and comedians
* Users can share posts with SMS, Email, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram
* Users can build their own, personal collection, by saving their favorites to their camera roll
* Users can submit their favorite quotes for our team for review
* Promotes non-profit organizations like NKLA.org
* Is Free to try (for 7 days)
* Provides both monthly ($0.99) and yearly ($9.99) subscription options

"The app has taken on a wonderful life of its own. It went from being a product to an experience...for me and all those involved" Christian said. The first featured contributor recently wrote: "Going back through and re-reading all of these favorite quotes of mine, I've realized I was actually speaking to myself this whole time. These were all messages that I selected because they at some point were the very thing I needed to hear. Spending dedicated time with them has been a very lovely walk down memory lane and it's a huge reminder to keep pursuing our dreams! ;)"

The app also plans to draw attention to non-profits and other organizations that might otherwise not get global exposure. "Happy, enlightened, people like to make other people happy," said Brescia. "We're working to create an environment that advises people through life's tough decisions and inspires them to do and be better. If it succeeds, I think it will inspire our users to 'pay it forward.'" Everyone needs positive, optimistic energy, beautiful thoughts and a wise word. Daily Sage subscriptions are available for $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year. After 10 weeks in development, Christian and the team at Brushmedia are thrilled to release Daily Sage, available to download from the Apple App Store, today.
