Gio Puts iOS Gamers' Balance, Dexterity, and Memory to the Test - Published on 09/02/16

London-based development team, Media Luna today introduces Gio - The Rolling Ball Game 1.0, their challenging rolling ball game for iOS devices. Gio will put any players' balance, dexterity, and memory to the test. Roll the ball over the correct colored cubes to build a path in order to move ahead. Roll the wrong way, and it's time to start over. Each new level offers brand-new new twists and turns designed to offer even the most skillful competitor a mind-bending challenge.

London, United Kingdom - Media Luna today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Gio - The Rolling Ball Game 1.0, their challenging new skill-based game for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. Gio requires quick thinking, great reflexes, and a solid memory, as it requires players to guide their ball over the correct colored cubes in order to build a path to continue their trip forward. As the ball begins to roll faster, it takes a keen eye, a steady hand, and a good memory to follow the correct path to beat each level.

The object of the game sounds simple, steer your ball to the finish line, following a constantly changing path to success. While Gio starts out deceivingly slow, it quickly picks up the pace, as players are required to follow the correct path to the end of the level, picking up the occasional star along the way. Control of the ball requires a steady hand, as the gamer uses the iPhone's built-in accelerometers to guide their ball down its ever-changing path to the finish line.

"Gio offers players a challenge they have never encountered before. In addition to fast reflexes, the game requires precise dexterity, and a great memory," says Graham Popkin, owner of Media Luna, and creator of Gio. "While players may have grown used to twitch-and-respond type arcade games offered by any one of a number of developers, Gio offers excitingly unique gameplay that will require well-honed reflexes, require them to think ahead and build a strategy, and uses every brain cell they possess, all to guide them down the proper path to success!"

Features:
* 10 uniquely challenging levels
* Beautifully designed 3D graphics
* Lively sound effects and bright music sets the proper mood
* Physics-based gameplay adds to the challenge
* Accelerometer-based control offers an unusual challenge
* Optional level guides provide route assistance when needed
* 3 ball speeds help players of all skill levels to get started
* Unlimited lives, scoring is completely time-based

Players need not worry about losing lives, as the game is all about beating the clock. The faster the ball reaches the goal, the higher the bonus that's added to the final score. Players must also remember the correct path, and the wrong turns they've already taken, to quickly reach the finish line and score big.

In addition to skillful control and an excellent memory, Gio requires a fair amount of strategy. As the path continues to progress ever forward, players must watch the ever-changing landscape closely, and prepare for their fair share of twists, turns, and elevation changes. The path the ball must follow isn't flat, and a successful strategy will allow for the twists and banked curves on the path to success.

"While Gio is a mind-blowing challenge for any player, we took care to make sure the game treats competitors fairly," continues Graham. "If players take the time to get to know the controls, and have a sharp memory, along with good reflexes, they're sure to be successful. We can't help it if they get a bit frustrated on their way to the finish line!"

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
* Requires iOS 7.1 or later
* Universal Application
* 220 MB
