Dubai, United Arab Emirates - UP4WHAT 1.2 is a new social app that eases planning between friends and combines it in a seamless way with discovering and booking select places, events and activities. It was born out of the founders' own fatigue and frustration with the inconvenience of social planning over existing event discovery, social and chatting apps.

The founders of UP4WHAT a corporate lawyer and a management consultant have launched 2 apps previously in the social planning and media space. "What we've built here is an app that makes you save time on planning something fun with friends, which normally takes a long time over chatting apps or phone calls. UP4WHAT helps friends connect easily by knowing up-front who is interested in what (e.g. dinner, yoga, travel, etc.) and when, through its Plan feed. It joins up friends in a plan where they can chat to agree on where to go. It also allows its users to control the privacy settings, so that a dinner can be by invite only, while a football match can be open on the feed for friends of friends to join. On the WHAT feed, it focuses on easing up the process of discovering and booking over 1,000 of the top venues, events, and activities across 12 destinations (Ibiza, Mykonos, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Northern Emirates, Doha, Manama, Amman, Beirut, Jeddah, Cairo and Sahel in Egypt).

UP4WHAT is packed with cool features that enhance the experience, such as connecting with facebook friends, a map view of all the plans happening around your area, creating a wish list, knowing who wish listed or is planning to go to a place, as well as being able to invite friends who are not already on the app.
