Easy Playlist makes it easy for users to listen to the music they love - Published on 10/10/16

UK based indie developer, Tom Berry releases Easy Playlist 1.1, an update to his popular music app for iOS devices. Easy Playlist offers a quick and easy way to build awesome playlists from the music stored on your iPhone. Simply select a few artists, albums or genres or use our advanced options for even greater control. Save your playlists and listen time and time again. Version 1.1 tweaks how the app displays and uses track meta data, as well as renamed options in the "last played" filter.

London, England - Anyone who has ever struggled to find music they want to listen to on their iPhone now has a solution, Easy Playlist 1.1, available for free on the App store. The purpose of the app is simple; 'make it as easy as possible for users to find and listen to their favorite music'.

"I've designed the app to be as easy to use as possible," says developer Tom Berry, "nothing is superfluous". This has resulted in an intuitive, easy to use interface that is simple enough for first time users to understand and flexible enough to give heavier users advanced tools to shape their playlists.

The app contains a number of features that make it as easy as possible to make a playlist. Rather than manually selecting tracks one by one, users are asked to select a number of different artists, albums or genres. They can then apply advanced filters to further refine their playlists - from limiting their selections to a certain number per artist, select tracks that have been played a certain number of times, or focus on tracks that last a certain length of time.

Easy Playlist is designed with a number of different users in mind. "Anyone who has a load of music saved on their phone will love this," says Berry, "I have so much that it's hard to know what to listen to and the temptation has always been to hit the 'shuffle all' button." The app also places strong emphasis on 'rediscovery'. Users are encouraged to build playlists out of music that they love but haven't listened to in a while, using the 'last played' filter.

Ultimately, anyone with a love of music could benefit. Simple playlists can be created in just 15 seconds, saving a significant amount of time over existing options such as the default Apple Music app. From basic to advanced needs, everyone is covered.

Easy Playlist is the work of independent developer, Tom Berry. Tom was inspired to develop the app after realizing how difficult it was to find music he wanted to listen to on his iPhone. Put off by having to select 'shuffle' all, or laboriously construct his own custom playlist, he knew there could be a better way - and Easy Playlist was born.
