Excelsior, Minnesota - Creative app maker, appikiko, LLC recently published Political Button Machine 1.1.2 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, which provides a simple way for mobile device users to create a custom digital "campaign pin".

Using the classic circular pin-back button as a format for declaring political sentiments has been popular for well over 100 years. Political Button Machine is for our mobile digital age when one's public lapel is now a social media profile.

With a patriotic palette and graphics, button makers are simply guided through screens to select a button template, use a photo of their choosing, change a graphic and add some text. The end result is a circular animated "button" in GIF form, ready to share with friends and family. The results could be serious or light-hearted. There is even a choice to use a talking head of the candidates to proclaim a sentiment.
