This release of its award-winning utility for enhancing Open and Save dialogs now supports macOS 10.15 Catalina, as well as the version of Path Finder distributed through SetApp. It also adds new AppleScript commands and tracking of AppleScript applets, and corrects several bugs found in previous versions.

Default Folder X's custom keyboard shortcuts put your favorite and recent folders at your fingertips. Pop-up menus let you quickly navigate your folders and open Finder windows. Previews, file information, Spotlight tagging and comments are there when you need them. The changes in Default Folder X 5.4 include:
* Compatibility with macOS 10.15 Catalina.
* Support for the version of Path Finder distributed via SetApp.
* New ConfirmDialog and CancelDialog AppleScript commands.
* AppleScript applets and droplets are now tracked by the Recent Files menu.
* Fixed a problem that could cause folders shown in tabbed Finder windows to be listed more than once in the Finder Windows menu.
* Addressed several compatibility issues and bugs.
