Yellow Dot has recently released Mathlingz 1.2.0, an update to their popular educational app developed exclusively for Apple's revolutionary iPad device. Featuring over 350 examples, Mathlingz offers over 100 short, dynamic math activities for children aged 8-11. Covering all learning areas in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimal system, Roman numerals, geometry and more, all activities have been designed to entertain and educate at the same time.

Gdansk, Poland - Yellow Dot has recently launched Mathlingz 1.2.0, an update to their popular educational app developed exclusively for Apple's revolutionary iPad device. Mathlingz offers over 100 short, dynamic math activities (with over 350 examples) for children aged 8-11. The content of Mathlingz was compiled by the editors with over 20 years of experience in educational publishing. Unlike most of other math apps, Mathlingz develops a wide range of math skills.

All activities have been designed to entertain and educate at the same time. "Mathlingz definitely makes kids more interested in math," says Christopher, a math teacher. "This is because a very child-friendly design and likable characters make them think that learning is fun. The app also has a variety of activities, which means kids don't get as bored, because each activity looks stylistically different and presents a different story."

Mathlingz covers the following learning areas: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimal system, Roman numerals, numbers in everyday life and geometry. It also trains memory, logical thinking and has a strong focus on reasoning and problem-solving. Children can choose between three difficulty levels to keep the challenge up. Mathlingz supports up to 8 player accounts, so it allows children to share one device while maintaining their own scores, achievements and awards. Version 1.2.0 offers improved Facebook integration, improved performance and minor fixed bugs.
