Czestochowa, Poland - GetApp has announced the release of OldBooth 7.3, an update to its popular photo montage application for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. OldBooth allows users to take a photo and change its look by placing it into a prepared retro mask. The masks are derived from vintage and yearbook photos from the 1920s, 1940s, 1960s, 1980s, and in the latest version, the 1950s. All photos are high resolution and retina ready.

"OldBooth is a very nicely designed app that's easy to use, and leads to some good laughs," says Beau Colburn of Macworld (29 Sep 2010). "If you've ever taken an old yearbook off a dusty bookshelf and laughed about the styles of the time, OldBooth from GetApp may be for you."

Feature Highlights:
* Sleek and elegant easy-to-use interface
* 190 different photo masks
* 5 different decades to choose from
* Ability to create own masks with Mask Creator
* Change settings to match photo skin tone
* High resolution and retina ready photos
* Gallery to help keep OldBooth photos organized
* Share on Facebook, Twitter, and more
* In-app purchases of additional mask packs available

When first opening the app, OldBooth asks for a gender preference and prompts the user to select a style. 1920s and 1980s photo packs are available in the free version while 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s photo packs are available as in-app purchases. Once the photo mask is selected, users take a photo which appears in the face of the mask. Users can manipulate the image size and placement by pinching. To ensure the image blends seamlessly, users can also change the contrast and brightness settings of the photo and the mask by sliders located on either side of the image.

An additional feature of OldBooth is its built-in Mask Creator. Included with the in-app purchase of any photo pack, the Mask Creator allows users to access their Photo Library to upload photos into the retro masks. All images can be downloaded to the user's Photo library and shared on Facebook and Twitter.

"OldBooth takes users back to the past with style!" says Arkadiusz Mlynarczyk, CEO of GetApp. "We've had over 700,000 happy users including Maya Rudolph who shared some of her own OldBooth photos on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. With each update, we continue to expand and improve OldBooth. In the next release, we are planning to add a 1930s photo pack."
