London, United Kingdom - Independent developer, Jay Harvey, is pleased to announce Kaomoji Designer for iOS. Kaomoji facemarks are combinations of text characters that resemble a face, such as ( > _ < ). Kaomoji were originally popularized in Japan, however they are now used in messages around the world. They make a great alternative to graphic-based emoji as they can be view on almost any device capable of displaying text.

With Kaomoji Designer, it's simple to design your own kaomoji. The app organizes over 300 text symbols according to their usage in facemarks, so all the user needs to do is tap the symbol they want. This is far quicker than the conventional method of swapping between different input keyboard to find the text symbol you need.

The app includes a simple and advanced design mode. In the simple mode the kaomoji structure is taken care of. The user simply selects different elements (eyes, mouth, cheeks, arms) from a list and the kaomoji is automatically created. A selection of 70 individual elements means there is over 80,000 different combinations.

Alternatively, using the advanced mode, the user is completely free to design kaomoji as they wish. This mode contains over 300 different elements which the user can enter into a text field wherever they like.

In both modes, kaomoji can be saved to a number of different categories sorted by emotion (e.g happy, sad, excited, etc.) and can be easily shared via Twitter, Facebook, SMS or email. Alternatively, the user can simply tap any kaomoji to copy to it to the clipboard and then paste into other apps.

Kaomoji Designer has been built to be fun, both functionally and visually. The app therefore includes 5 different color themes designed with the iPhone 5C in mind (blue, red, green, yellow and white). At the tap of a button, the entire look and feel of the app can be transformed to match your iPhone 5C or iPhone case/accessories.
