Listening App for Guitarists Shatters Barriers of Musical Expression - Published on 05/14/14
JamSpring is very proud to announce the limited pre-release of their revolutionary listening technology app, which allows guitar players of any level to instantly start creating songs and jam with others. JamSpring allows users to create and share the music inside them all without memorizing scales, music theory, or the fret board! The app will launch in late 2014, but is now available on a limited pre-order basis until May 30th at an attractive one time introductory price.
London, United Kingdom - JamSpring is very proud to announce the limited pre-release of their revolutionary listening technology app, which allows guitar players of any level to instantly start creating songs and jam with others.
JamSpring listens to users play a series of guitar chords or notes, transcribes what it has heard into simple to read tablature form, and generates a virtual guitar neck. This shows how additional parts can be constructed, meaning knowledge of scales or music theory is no longer a prerequisite for jamming & songwriting. The entire composition is again captured in tablature form so users can record their ideas for riffs, solos and chords. Users can download and share their compositions with friends next door or new jam partners on the other side of the globe allowing collaboration to take place anytime, anywhere, with anyone.
As co-founder Darren Brady puts it, "Sometimes, what you hear in your head doesn't really come out of your guitar. Whether you're stuck creatively or just don't know that much about scales and music theory, JamSpring's sole purpose is to shatter the barriers between creativity and actual expression. You only need to be able to play a few basic chords and JamSpring will guide you from there, giving you suggestions for alternative chords, riffs, solos and even bass lines. There's nothing holding you back anymore!"
JamSpring is just as powerful a tool in the hands of experienced guitarists, who will most appreciate its tablature transcription capabilities. Whether they want to improve their playing, need inspiration, transcribe ideas into tablature or just want to be able to express themselves without the hassle of learning all the scales and theory, this app provides all the tools necessary for guitarists of Every level.
"It's all about expressing your musical ideas with the world (or just yourself) in the simplest way possible, whenever and wherever, without obstacles. Just think about how many people quit playing guitar because they got stuck at some point, or because they didn't meet the right people to play with", Brady continues. "They could have been the next John Lennon or Jimi Hendrix, but, sadly, we'll never know. We want to shatter the barriers keeping our users from expressing their musical ideas and free them to create the incredible music which lives inside of each of us."
JamSpring will be released later this year, but is available at an attractive discount on a limited pre-order basis. Brady concludes, "The pre-release window will not be open for long, so people need to act fast if they don't want to miss this amazing opportunity to get a great deal and change the way they play guitar forever- regardless of whether their ambition is simply to be a casual bedroom performer or chase Total World Domination (Bill & Ted's style)."
