Avalancia introduces Elven Blood, a popular online RPG, launches for iPhone this week. Palo Alto, California - Avalancia is thrilled to announce Elven Blood, a popular online RPG, launches for iPhone this week. Based upon traditional text-based Dungeons & Dragons RPG games, the game features hundreds of hours of gameplay along with social interaction in massive multiplayer fashion. Players complete quests to earn gold, items, and experience as they advance characters through hundreds of stages interwoven in an intricate story.
Elven Blood originally launched for Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace to massive popularity with over a million users. The game brings a unique aspect of social interaction, as players build alliances to complete difficult missions. Elven Blood was originally developed by Patrick Shyu, an indie app developer (who also built the web-game Human Pets and timelapse-tool Panolapse).
With the iPhone platform comes new content and features. Utilizing the phone camera, players can customize profile photos for their characters. Integrating the Apple Game Center, players compete for rankings among various leaderboards and can find their friends. Notifications provide instant reports on battles and messages with other players. Friends can also team up to trade powerful items with each other and wage war on other players to loot extra gold.
