Atsumeru - The GIF and Reaction Image Management App - Now Free to Try - Published on 08/15/14
Indie software developer, Sascha M Holesch today announces Atsumeru 1.2, an update to his popular image organizer for iOS. Offering a complete package for collecting, organizing and sharing images, Atsumeru was made specifically to help users manage animated GIFs and other reaction images for private viewing as well as for sharing. Images can be added by importing them from the iPhone's photo roll, the clipboard, a designated folder in the user's Dropbox or by doing a Giphy powered search.
Aizuwakamatsu, Japan - Independent software developer, Sascha M Holesch today is pleased to announce the newest update of Atsumeru for iOS, which had been approved for release in all regions. Atsumeru was made specifically to help users manage animated GIFs and other reaction images for private viewing as well as for later sharing with others.
The 3 main problems Atsumeru is solving are:
* Finding and collecting (animated) images
* Organizing a collection of images
* Sharing images from a collection
Images can be added by importing them from the iPhone's photo roll, the clipboard, a designated folder in the user's Dropbox (if they chose to link the application to it) or by doing a Giphy powered search.
Once images are inside Atsumeru, they can be conveniently renamed, starred and tagged. Atsumeru comes with a set of predefined categories to quickly access favourites or only browse all collected animated GIFs. More tags can be easily created and assigned to images. This becomes very handy after the number of images in Atsumeru grew significantly: Tags and image names can be searched for with the integrated search functionality.
After selecting an image and watching it in Atsumeru, a simple tap on the share button in the bottom right enables sharing via iMessage and email as well as Google and Twitter. Atsumeru can upload animated GIFs to Twitter natively as well as sharing them via Dropbox link. For services not yet directly supported it is also possible to upload an image to Dropbox and copy the share URL to the iPhone's clipboard to paste into any other App on the user's device.
"There is a plethora of Apps out there to manage photographs, but the market of good Apps for us people who love animated GIFs and reaction images is rather small.," explained Sascha Holesch. "We want to collect fun images to use them in conversations with our friends or share them otherwise to express feelings and make statements. Atsumeru is free to try. I want everybody who is into reaction images to be able to have a look at Atsumeru. I believe especially the organisation capabilities, the ease of sharing, as well as the support for image formats other than GIF makes Atsumeru very attractive."
Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch
* Requires iOS 7.1 or later
* 4 MB (+file size of collected images)
Pricing and Availability:
Atsumeru 1.2 is free to try for a collection size of up to 10 images and is localised into English, German and Japanese. This limit can be removed with a small In App Purchase. It is available exclusively through the App Store in the "Photo & Video" or "Entertainment" category from August 15th.
