Virtual Space has announced the release of Open up our world for iPad - the app specially designed for children with autism and mental retardation meant to develop their cognitive skills, improve social adaptation and recover their psychic and emotional health. The app uses pictures of familiar objects that are marked and voiced. While playing the child will learn to identify objects and categorize them by a certain common feature which is a very important for their development.

Yoshkar-Ola, Russian Federation - Virtual Space has announced the release and immediate availability of "Open up our world" for iPad - the app specially designed for children with autism and mental retardation meant to develop their cognitive skills, improve social adaptation and recover their psychic and emotional health. The parents will find the app "Open up our world" as an effective tool to assist their child to get to know the surrounding environment better.

The app uses pictures of familiar objects that are marked and voiced. While playing the child will learn to identify objects and categorize them by a certain common feature, the skill which is a very important for the development of kids with autism.

The Extension feature is a true advantage of the app. Therefore parents are engaged in the game by uploading and marking their own pictures in such a way as to let their child recognize his/her house, toys, garden, street and more.

The app includes three play modes:
* Study Mode
* "Find all the objects from one category" Mode
* "Find the object by its name" Mode

Consistent playing with the app, "Open up our world," focuses the child's attention on the object and assists him/her in retaining the visual impression of the object in memory. It also helps improve visual and auditory attention, develop the skills of object distinction, improve visual memory and practice the reference skills.
