Barcelona, Spain - InQBarna is proud to announce the release of Splyce 2.4, a new version of its powerful music player for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. After being awarded by the United Nations with the World Summit Award Mobile, Inqbarna, the company behind Splyce, releases an iPhone 6 & iOS 8 compatible improved version and a new emotional video with the aim that everyone becomes his/her own DJ.

United Nations will award Splyce on February 2015 with the World Summit Award Mobile on the entertainment category during the World Summit Award Gala, that will take place in Abu Dhabi between February 1-4. Its a new award for this great app launched on the App Store on July 2013.

Almost a million users from Splyce were expecting a new version of App Stores Best of 2013, and now they can download it from the App Store. With iPhone 6 and iOS 8 support, the app faces 2015 with great plans, including several improvements with Pulselocker, the music streaming service integrated in Splyce: 80% of the feedback we received were users asking us to integrate with music streaming services. Thats when we met Pulselocker, a perfect fit for our music app because they focus on electronic music and they include indie music not easy to find in any other streaming services. And they also have an endless mainstream catalogue, which is perfect for us, says Nacho Snchez, CEO of Inqbarna, the app development company behind Splyce.

Splyce keeps improving its integration with Pulselocker, a brand new music streaming service that will delight Splyces users with its 20 million songs catalogue and human-curated music charts for their 50 different music categories.

Music on the go. On this new version of Splyce, users will find that they no longer need to have their music stored on their devices. Now they can sign in to Pulselocker and start enjoying endless hours of music and fun with Pulselocker. Users can search for their favorite music in their huge catalogue or take advantage of the 50 charts, by category, that Pulselocker will update every week. Users can now like the streaming songs and see all their liked tracks on a special playlist that allows them to order their playlists.

Free 14 day trial. For everyone who wants to try this new service, they can do it for free just by downloading the App on the App Store and sign in to Pulselocker via Splyce. They will get a 2 week free trial and they can stream as much music as they want during those 2 weeks. After that, users that find this service reliable, they can subscribe to Pulselocker and get endless hours of great music and dive in their 20 million songs catalogue.

Working on the Android version. Splyce developers are working on the Android version of the app that they plan to release during Q1-2015. Its a great effort, but many users have requested it and we want to deliver our music player to as many users as possible, claims Nacho Snchez.

Translated into Portuguese/Brazilian. Developers have included a new language to the app, so they have decided to translate Splyce into Portuguese (Brazilian) in addition to English and Spanish. The reason behind this decision is that we can see that we have big numbers in Brazil and we want to explore a huge market and give users the best experience they can have, says Nacho.
